NEL operates a Monitored Professional Development Scheme (MPDS)- a quality controlled route to assist new and recent graduate engineers from mechanical, chemical, electronic and electrical disciplines to achieve Chartered Engineer status. The Professional Development Scheme has been accredited by IMechE which is their endorsement that our scheme meets their rigorous standards for the provision of quality training, support and opportunities for developing engineers to achieve Chartership.

We support emerging talents through active links with schools, colleges and univiersities programmes. These give students the opportunity to undertake industrially relevant projects in a commercial environment and to receive structured management and business training.

Our staff are highly regarded throughout the industries we serve. In many areas we provide industry leadership through our involvement in committees, associations and regulatory bodies.
